Student Association has found a new way to save students money on college essentials.

SA has collaborated with a company called the Student Savings Club, which will provide all students with discounts at participating businesses around Saginaw.

"It works out well for everybody," SA President Andy Suszek said. "It helps the students and it attracts customers for the businesses."

Rally's Hamburgers, Goodrich Theaters, and Stardust Lanes are among a long list of restaurants, automotive services, health services, and communication services that have agreed to participate in the program.

The promotion will come to an end at the start of the Winter 2008 semester, but a future partnership with the program is still up in the air.

"It ends [in the Winter 2008 semester]," continued Suszek, "but if it's a success, we'll certainly consider keeping it going."

Students should show their student IDs at the moment of purchase in order to receive their discount.
