Spring Hill College, Kevin Saberre - SGA Vice President (8/22/07)

I think the the Student Savings Club has been one of the greatest things that have happened to college life. I say that both as a member of the Student Government and as a student. It is so great to go to your favorite places around town and get a nice discount just because you are a student. I love the student savings club I hope my school will keep it as long as possible.

My name is Steve McHale and I am President of the Creighton Students Union, the student body government and campus program board at Creighton University in Omaha, NE. Throughout the past year I have worked with the Student Savings Club to help students get discounts on everything from food to car repairs. The way it has worked is we give the Savings Club a list of places that we feel students frequent, and they do all of the work to get the discounts, its that simple. I would strongly encourage all universities to work with the Student Savings Club, as my experience has been great. It is easy, it is free, and it will save you money.

The Student Savings Club is a hidden gem on our campus. I did not find out about this program until late last year. I wish I would have known sooner. The discounts we receive through this program make a big difference in a college students budget. If your campus does not provide this service yet, it is something you should totally look into!

University of Michigan - Dearborn, Muhi, Student Government President 2007-2008 (8/3/07)

The SSC has increased the partnership between our campus community and local businesses.  For the past two years, we've enjoyed benefits while increasing our savings plan.  Every University should look into using the SSC because they are courteous, helpful, and get things done!  The service they provide goes a long way in helping out each and every member of our University, and for that, we want to say thank you and GO BLUE!
